Pandemic VS epidemic is a choice in immunology for doctors to decide whether or not to administer a particular vaccine. This choice can be based on the kind of strain (for instance, poliovirus) or the disease (for instance, measles). It should also be based on the current availability of cures for this new disease.
The goal of an outbreak is to have as few people as possible infected with all types of diseases. Thus, vaccines are put into place to protect those individuals from being sick with those types of diseases. It is important that a new pandemic is prevented. There are two different ways to do this. One is through preventing contacts of an infected person with a person who is not sick with the pandemic type and the other is through preventing contacts of a susceptible individual with an infected person who is not yet symptomatic.
The World Health Organization (WHO) created the pandemic virus surveillance and management program or PPSPM. This is the system through which countries submit their records on imported and domestically acquired pathogens and microorganisms for review. This will allow the world health organization to determine if the pandemic vs epidemic viruses are moving from their respective regions. If they are, adjustments can be made immediately. There are five regions within the WHO area of responsibility: Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and East Africa.
There is a separate area within the WHO, where each country has a pandemic branch. This is called the International Health Services Emergency Committee. For example, the coordinating committee for Europe is responsible for determining what proportion of the total number of cases in the region would be affected by pandemic viruses. Once an epidemic appears there is a shift in the normal routine that is necessary in the different countries. Therefore, authorities need to coordinate with each other in order to keep the alert level high. A pandemic requires quick action. The standard response methodologies have to be adapted so that new outbreaks can be dealt with effectively. Control and education include creating awareness among the people in the communities so that they can identify potential pandemic risks. Proper hygiene is essential for preventing the spread of infections. Animals are also a good source of contamination. When a new virus affecting animals is found, the corresponding control measures should be taken. Some of the animal diseases that can be contracted by humans and other animals are: Rabies, Distemper, Lassa fever, Canine Distemper, Respiratory Distemper, Lyme disease, Mumps, Rubella virus, Hepatitis A virus, Epstein-Barr virus, and Salmonella virus.
Due to the millions of people becoming infected each year worldwide, the need for pandemic vs epidemic vaccines has increased. This has been made possible through the International Health Organization or IHO. The IHO has been working on different projects aimed at preventing and controlling epidemics. Through these projects, vaccines for the three diseases mentioned above as well as others will be introduced. One of the diseases being targeted is the “Covid-19” vaccine, which was developed by the Japanese.
Although there are no known side effects of the vaccines, it is recommended that pregnant women who may become pregnant should not receive these vaccines. There is also a possibility that these vaccines may cause severe reactions among children or adults. The only risk associated with a pandemic vaccination is the possibility of the current pandemic strain of the disease becoming the new pandemic vs epidemic strain. So far there have been no such cases. It is also important to note that although the majority of viruses causing outbreaks of infectious disease are killed, there is always a chance that some viruses will escape the control of the infection.
